On October 27, Zugdidi LAG hosted the participants of the Georgian-Moldovan transnational project.
Within the framework of the project, a summary meeting was held in Zugdidi Technopark, attended by local self-government representatives and invited guests, where representatives of Zugdidi, Akhmet and Republic of Moldova LAGs discussed the past stages, results and future plans.
On the 5th of October 2023, Zugdidi LAG hosted a joint meeting of the Lithuanian Local Action Group Association and the Georgian Association of LAGs (GALAG) with the support of Action Against Hunger (AAH). The meeting in Zugdidi came at the end of a long tour organized by GALAG where LAG members from Lithuania had the opportunity to visit and learn about the projects and activities of Georgian LAGs. During this tour, participants travelled first to Tskaltubo LAG, then up into the mountains of Svaneti to meet Mestia LAG and, finally back down to Zugdidi.
LAG Tskaltubo was visiting the partner organization Volunteer Center in Lublin, in Poland.
Within the framework of the visit, LAG members visited "Nowe Radio" and introduced the listeners to the activities of LAG Tskaltubo, cooperation plans with the Volunteer Center in Lublin.
On 10 -12 September 2019, representatives of EU’s partner organisations - Mercy Corps, CARE and People in Need - implementing the EU-funded ENPARD project “Strengthening Rural Development Models in Georgia” and the members of EU-supported Borjomi, Lagodekhi and Kazbegi Local Action Groups (LAGs) participated in Leader Inspired Network Community, LINC Conference in Estonia.
6-9 June 2019, Tskaltubo - Over 20 representatives of the EU-supported Georgian Association of Local Action Groups (LAGs) and invited experts participated in workshop on the European LEADER approach to rural development, which took place on 6-9 June 2019 in Tskaltubo.
18 December 2018, Tbilisi – Over 20 representatives of the EU-supported Georgian Association of Local Action Groups (GALAG) took part in a three-day workshop organized by European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD) during 14-16 December in Tbilisi.
On 16-18 November 2018, over 15 members of the EU-supported Georgian Association of LAGs (GALAG) from Borjomi, Lagodekhi, Kazbegi, Akhalkalaki, Khulo, Keda, Tetritskaro and Dedoplistkaro gathered in Kutaisi for a training in advocacy and lobbying. The aim of the training was to support GALAG members in improving their knowledge and skills in advocacy and lobbying.
On 26-28 September 2018, Portuguese presidency of the European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD) jointly organized The LEADER RELOADED Conference, which took place in Evora, Portugal.
On 12-14 July 2018, in the framework of the EU-funded European Neighbourhood Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD), a three-days workshop of Georgian Association of Local Action Groups (GALAG) took place in Batumi.
